The next First Thursday, the Press Club’s popular networking event, takes place
on 5 October at St Paul’s Club, St Paul’s Square, Birmingham, B3 1QZ (tel 0121
236 1950).

Members will be meeting from 5.30 pm and for the first time, in our new
location, we will be incorporating a new feature of the evening – in Conversation
with the Chairman.

Llewela Bailey will be coaxing secrets out of ITV anchorman Bob Warman, her
on-screen “husband” for many years on Central News. So that’s “secrets at six o’clock.”
It should be fun – hope you can make it!
