Neil has been in professional practice as a Chartered Accountant since 1981 in the UK and Middle East with large international firms and in his own practice. He has gained considerable experience in corporate acquisitions and disposals, auditing, taxation and general business planning and advice.
Neil also has first-hand experience of company management (in addition to running his own accountancy practice) as finance director of (and usually an investor in) a brewery, various manufacturing companies in the Midlands, a software distribution company and a motor trader in the Midlands. In addition to detailed financial planning and assistance he advises the management/owners of these companies about financial and commercial strategy and provides a “sounding board” for their ideas and problems.
Neil gained an MA from Oxford University after being awarded an Open Scholarship to Christ Church, Oxford. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and holds the prestigious internationally-recognised Corporate Finance qualification.
