Kevin has worked as a journalist in the radio industry for over 20 years, starting his career at BRMB in 1993. From a trainee reporter, he progressed to entertainment journalist and then to News Editor.

Kevin covered numerous major stories in the city before becoming the ‘voice’ of breakfast news, reading for various radio legends including Les Ross and Ed Doolan. He has announced the deaths of Princess Diana, The Queen Mother, Michael Jackson and many other high profile personalities (he always seems to be on shift, when someone dies!)

Kevin has also headed up coverage of many major international news stories including 9/11, the 7/7 bombings, the night Birmingham was evacuated and the break up of the Spice Girls!

More recently he made the jump from the world of commercial radio to move in with ‘auntie’ at the BBC and now heads production of the mid-morning show on BBC Radio WM.
